Dear Reader

Welcome to the twelfth edition of Property Power.

As one becomes an experienced property practitioner, one often takes the knowledge gained over many years for granted. It does require a step backwards to realise that property is a complex asset in many ways and dealing with property as a seller, buyer, landlord or tenant is a complicated process. Herein lies the beauty of a publication like Property Power.

When I started out in property, having a publication like Property Power would have saved me many hundreds of hours of research and surely some mistakes that I made along the way. The advantage of Property Power is that the many hours of research have been done for YOU, the reader. As with any publication, Property Power does not purport to offer you legal or financial advice, but rather loads of very readable and useful information. Inasmuch as we are able to provide you with the information that Property Power contains, we do strongly encourage you to obtain legal and financial advice from the relevant professional before entering into any property transaction.

You do not need to read Property Power in any order. A quick scan through the contents should demonstrate to the reader that that Property Power covers a large variety of topics that can be referred to in any order.

Property Power should be kept on your desk or in your briefcase and become a handy guide to allow the reader quick and easy reference to any property related topic.

We wish you many hours of happy and informative reading and hope that you find Property Power as interesting and informative as we did in compiling it for you.

Yours in property
Graeme Jay
