In March 1998 the Interest Rate was at 18%,
and within five months it increased by 6% in August 1998 to 24%.

PLEASE NOTE
If you are not sure what the current Interest Rate is, use this as a guideline: The Prime Lending Rate at the time of update of this calculator
on 29 January 2016 was 10.25%.

Always make provisions for an unexpected hike in the Interest Rate.
Do your calculations on the current prime lending rate as well as
on a few percentages higher than the current rate.
